ARTIST STATEMENT
Dakari Butler is a visual artist who mixes traditional 2d practices, such as painting and drawing, with fiber techniques; often sewing soft sculptures, embroidering intricate lines and embellishing pieces with beadwork. This creates artwork that is intricate in both detail and texture. Her work is an immersive tactile experience.
