ARTIST STATEMENT
In reverence for the Monarch butterfly, these boxes house wooden brooches containing wings of Monarchs that were collected by research scientists studying the migratory patterns of the Monarch in an effort to save necessary biological habitats along the 2500 mile flight path from Canada to Mexico.
