Artist Statement

This work explores the vessel, reinterpreting it as a bounded yet permeable space. Rims, and edges are linked through an unconventional filigree. Silver operates as both gesture and structure. What is within is both integrated and isolated from what is without; through this pervious quality, we may also define ourselves.
